Free at Sea Beverage Package

Norwegian Cruise Line offers beverage package options designed to provide convenience and flexibility during your sailing. Below are the current guidelines, inclusions, and restrictions for the NCL Beverage and Soda Packages.

Unlimited Open Bar / Free at Sea Beverage Package

Package Overview & Pricing:

Applicable to all qualified sailings excluding Pride of America. Includes a variety of spirits, cocktails, wines by the glass, draft and bottled beer, fountain soda, juice, and non-alcoholic beer. Brand availability may vary by ship, region, and season.

• 2 to 5-Day Cruises: Starting May 1, 2026, the price for Free at Sea prepaid beverage package service charges/gratuities on new bookings for 2 to 5-day cruises is $32.00 USD per person, per day. Includes premium spirits such as Grey Goose, Casamigos, and Woodford Reserve across onboard venues.
• 6-Day or Longer Cruises: Service charges/gratuities remain at $28.50 USD per person, per day.
• Guests are responsible for the prepaid beverage package costs prior to the cruise. Onboard guest accounts may reflect applicable taxes and VAT for certain ports or itineraries. When booking through the Australia office, additional beverage costs are included in the fare.

Rules & Restrictions:

• Guest Eligibility: Applicable to guests 1 through 8 on the reservation for the entire duration of the sailing. Guests 1 and 2 must be at least 21 years of age at the time of sailing to qualify for the Unlimited Open Bar Package.
• Underage Guests (Guests 1 & 2): If Guest 1 or 2 is under 21 years of age, they will receive the Unlimited Soda Package automatically.
• Underage Guests (Guests 3-8): If guests 3 through 8 are under 21 years of age, the Free at Sea Beverage Package does not apply, and a soda package will not be given as a substitution.
• Transaction Limits & Usage: Eligible guests are entitled to two beverages per person, per transaction. Packages are personal to the individual, non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be shared. No substitutions or refunds are offered if a guest cannot consume all included drinks.
• Onboard Discounts: Guests receive a 20% discount on bottles of wine, Champagne, sparkling wine, Wine and Spirit Experiences, tastings, and flights purchased onboard. Receive a $15 discount off listed prices for ultra-premium selections in the Connoisseur Collection and Signature Selection.

Package Exclusions:

The Free at Sea Beverage Package does not include:

• Bottled water and bottled wine
• Connoisseur Collection and Signature Selection items (qualify for a $15 discount)
• Designated super-premium brands (list subject to change)
• Energy drinks and vending machine purchases
• Freshly squeezed juices
• Ice Bars
• Mini-Bar purchases and Room Service drinks
• Package sales, ship-specific promotions, or beer buckets
• Starbucks venues and specialty coffee bars
• Wine dispensers, Wine & Spirit Experiences, tastings, or flights
• Harvest Caye bars, restaurants, or shore venues (applies onboard and at Great Stirrup Cay)
• One-night sailings, selected charters, or Pride of America sailings

Unlimited Soda Package

Pricing & Details:

• Retail Price: $12.50 USD per person, per day (plus a 20% service charge added at checkout). Included when booking through the Australia office.
• What is Included: Unlimited fountain sodas (Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite, Ginger Ale, Tonic Water, Fanta) and standard juices across all onboard bars, lounges, and restaurants.
• Restrictions: Non-transferable and non-refundable. Offer is not applicable on one-night sailings or at Harvest Caye.
