Virgin Voyages Drink Packages

Virgin Voyages intentionally avoids traditional all-inclusive daily beverage packages. Instead, basic essential drinks are included in all cruise fares, and premium beverages (alcoholic and specialty non-alcoholic) are paid for on a pay-as-you-go basis or through a pre-paid "Bar Tab" credit system.

Included Essential Drinks (No Extra Charge)

All Sailors enjoy complimentary access to essential beverages throughout the ship, available in all eateries, The Galley food hall, and dining venues:

• Filtered Water: Still and sparkling water on tap at hydration stations and dining venues.
• Sodas & Carbonated Drinks: Fountain soft drinks (Coca-Cola products) and canned sodas.
• Drip Coffee & Teas: Standard drip coffee, iced tea, and assorted sachet tea selections.
• Non-Pressed Juices: Standard breakfast juices and fruit infusions.

The Bar Tab System

To cover premium drinks, Virgin Voyages offers a pre-purchased onboard drinks credit known as the Bar Tab.

• How It Works: Sailors can pre-load a Bar Tab in preset increments (e.g., $300 USD) prior to sailing. Virgin Voyages often provides promotional bonus credit (such as $50 to $100 in extra drink credit) depending on the pre-purchase amount and current campaign.
• Usage: The Bar Tab can be used to pay for any premium beverage onboard for yourself and others, including cocktails, wine by the glass or bottle, draft or canned beer, specialty espresso drinks, fresh-pressed juices, and smoothies.
• Non-Refundable: Unused Bar Tab funds at the end of the voyage are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Average A La Carte Drink Prices

Virgin Voyages advertises fair, transparent pricing where tips and gratuities are already included in the displayed menu price. Typical prices across onboard bars and restaurants include:

• Draft & Canned Beer: $6.00 to $9.00 USD
• Wines by the Glass: $9.00 to $15.00 USD (premium glasses range up to $25.00 USD)
• Craft Cocktails & Spirits: $11.00 to $15.00 USD
• Specialty Coffee & Espresso: $4.00 to $6.00 USD
• Fresh-Pressed Juices & Smoothies: $7.00 to $13.00 USD

RockStar & Mega RockStar Suite Perks

• RockStar Quarters: Includes access to Richard's Rooftop VIP lounge with daily complimentary Champagne happy hours, plus a complimentary initial in-suite bar setup.
• Mega RockStar Quarters: Includes a daily drink allowance covering all drinks up to $25 USD per serving across all bars, lounges, and dining venues, plus two bottles of wine per day (up to $90 USD per bottle) and a fully customized, continuously replenished in-suite bar.

Personal Alcohol Policy

• Sailors (21+) are permitted to bring up to two 750 ml bottles of wine or Champagne per cabin in their carry-on luggage at embarkation. Spirits, liquor, and beer brought aboard will be collected and held until final disembarkation. A corkage fee applies if personal wine is consumed in ship eateries.
