Protocols and procedures evolve to adapt to regional conditions and travel regulations across the destinations where Viking Ocean Cruises operates. Please check this site for current guidelines under the Viking Health & Safety Program.
Travel Protection Plan
As you prepare for your upcoming voyage, Viking Ocean recommends considering a comprehensive Travel Protection Plan, which covers unforeseen circumstances arising before or during your trip, including emergency medical expenses, trip interruptions, and emergency medical evacuation or repatriation. Viking offers a plan administered by Trip Mate (a Generali Global Assistance & Insurance Services brand).
Vaccines & Destination Health
Viking Ocean encourages guests to prioritize health and well-being. While general public health mandates or routine testing rules are not required to board ocean ships, staying up to date on routine vaccinations ahead of departure as advised by a personal healthcare provider is recommended.
Review specific entry requirements for countries along your voyage, as certain international destinations enforce localized health or vaccine guidelines. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides baseline reference guidelines.
