World Travel Awards Names Norwegian Cruise Line "Europe's Leading Cruise Line" for Fifth Year

Norwegian Cruise Line just announced that it has been honored by the World Travel Awards, named "Europe's Leading Cruise Line". With four ships offering European itineraries through Europe ranging from 7-14 days, this makes the fifth consecutive (2008- 2012) year Norwegian has been awarded with this accolade, voted by travel agents and consumers worldwode.

Norwegian is dedicated to offering an array of exciting itineraries that make it easy and convenient for guests to explore Europes most popular ports of call all while enjoying the freedom of Freestyle Cruising on the most contemporary ships at sea.

Norwegian Epic, sets sail on seven-day Western Mediterranean itineraries from May 5, 2013 - October 13, 2013. Ports of call include Naples, Rome (Civitavecchia) and Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Italy; Palma, Majorca, Spain and Provence (Marseilles), France. Guests have the flexibility to begin their cruise in either Barcelona, Rome (Civitavecchia), or Provence (Marseilles), France, allowing them to customize a vacation that suits their specific needs.

Beginning November 6, 2012, Norwegian Spirit will sail nine-day Canary Islands cruises, departing from Barcelona through April 8, 2013, calling on exotic European ports including Funchal, Madeira; Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and Arrecife, Lanzarote, Canary Islands; along with Granada (Malaga), Spain.

Norwegian Jade offers seven-day Greek Isles and Adriatic itineraries from Venice, Italy through early October, visiting Corfu, Santorini, Mykonos and Olympia (Katakolon), Greece, Dubrovnik, Croatia; Athens (Piraeus), Greece; Ephesus (Izmir), Turkey and Split, Croatia; and 10-day Eastern Mediterranean cruises from Rome (Civitavecchia) to Olympia (Katakolon) and Athens (Piraeus), Greece; Ephesus (Izmir), Turkey; an overnight Istanbul, Turkey; and Naples, Italy. For a history-filled expedition, Norwegian Jade sails from Rome (Civitavecchia) on 11-day Mediterranean and Holy Land cruises from mid-October through April 6, 2013. Ports of call include Alanya, Turkey; Limassol, Cyprus; Haifa and Ashdod, Israel; Iraklion, Crete, Greece; and Naples, Italy.

Norwegian Star offers nine-day Baltic Capitals voyages from May 7, 2013 through September 10, 2013. Sailing from Copenhagen, Denmark, this voyage includes an overnight stay in St. Petersburg, Russia. Additional ports of call include Berlin (Warnemunde), Germany; Tallinn, Estonia; Helsinki, Finland; and Stockholm, Sweden.
