Princess Cruises just revealed the latest details of top deck features that will be available onboard their innovative new ship, the Royal Princess.
The newest member of their fleet is scheduled to arrive in June of 2013 with Mediterranean itineraries before moving to home-port in Ft. Lauderdale.
Princess announced the latest in their design efforts of the Royal Princess adults-only area, The Sanctuary and the Retreat Pool.
The Sanctuary will be located forward on deck, removed from the myriad of outdoor activities for passengers seeking solitude and relaxation. This plush, outdoor spa-inspired escape is 20% larger on the Royal Princess and will offer signature beverages, light meals, massages, attentive service and relaxation personal entertainment.
Recharge with chilled face towels and Evian water atomizers on your plush lounge chair set amongst rock gardens, spa music and atmospheric lighting that embody the Sanctuarys contemporary design.
Reserve one of four VIP cabanas for a truly luxurious getaway. These private cabanas feature personal televisions, cushy sofas, dedicated steward and picnic basket full of delicious amenities like champagne, fruit and sandwiches.
Take advantage of the exclusive Lotus Spa services in one of two spa cabanas available in a private setting at the front of the ship, with spectacular ocean views.
Stewards are on hand to offer a variety of special drinks and snacks created for The Sanctuary. Choose from healthy smoothies, energy drinks, flavored waters, fruit skewers, lettuce-wrapped spring rolls and more.
Sunset yoga sessions will also be available to unwind at the end of the day.
Adjacent to The Sanctuary is the Retreat Pool. This spa-like adults-only pool is larger with more seating than ever before. Lounge poolside in comfortable chaise lounges, or reserve a poolside cabana that pampers with picnic baskets and a dedicated steward.
Other exciting top deck features on the Royal Princess include a water and light show with dancing fountains, a 30% larger Movies Under the Stars screen and glass-bottom SeaWalk with views 128-feet down.
The Royal Princess will debut June 2013 and is currently open for new reservations.
