Princess Goes Back to Fall Canada / New England Cruises in 2012

After offering a big Canada/New England program this year that included summer sailings, Princess Cruises will go back to autumn departures in 2012. Emerald Princess and Caribbean Princess are scheduled to operate 11 sailings of three Canada/New England itineraries.

Choices include a week-long round-trip sailing from New York, a 10-day voyage between New York and Québec City with an overnight in Québec and a 12-night ‘Canada & Colonial America’ cruise from Québec to Fort Lauderdale.

Passengers can extend their voyage with one of two cruise-tours, one highlighting America’s colonial cities and the other focusing on Niagara Falls and Canadian cities.

Caribbean Princess sails the round-trip cruises from New York, calling at Halifax, Saint John, Bar Harbor, Boston and Newport. The ship will offer seven departures between early September and late October.

Emerald Princess offers three 10-day cruises between New York and Québec City (overnight), calling at Newport, Boston, Bar Harbor, Saint John, Halifax Sydney and Charlottetown. Sailings are between late September and mid-October.

Emerald Princess repositions to Florida from Québec City on Oct. 26. This cruise overnights in Québec and calls at Sydney, Halifax, Bar Harbor, Boston, Newport, New York and Charleston.

The ‘Historic America’ cruise-tour includes Washington, DC, Virginia’s Williamsburg, Richmond and Monticello, plus Gettysburg and Philadelphia. The ‘Maple Explorer’ cruise-tour features Toronto (for Niagara Falls), Ottawa, Montebello and Montréal.
