Oceania is operating its first Canada/New England season this year.
‘Our 2011 fall foliage cruises have been so well received by our travel agent partners and their clients that we decided to redeploy Regatta from Europe to Canada and New England in fall 2012,” said Oceania president Bruce Himelstein.
The voyages are going to market at two-for-one prices with free round-trip air.
Regatta repositions from Istanbul to Lisbon, then Lisbon to New York in September next year, a cruise that stops at Madeira and the Azores then visits Nova Scotia’s Halifax, New Brunswick’s Saint John and Maine’s Bar Harbor and Portland. Other new itineraries include 12-day cruises between New York and Montréal in September and October and a 14-day round-trip from New York in mid-October that also loops south for an overnight in Hamilton, Bermuda.
Among the ports are Boston, Québec City, New Brunswick’s Saint John, Nova Scotia’s Halifax and Sydney, PEI’s Charlottetown, Newfoundland’s Corner Brook, Rhode Island’s Newport and Maine’s Rockland, Portland and Bar Harbor.
