Express Check-in Debuted at Miami Airport for Carnival Cruisers

Posted October 02, 2012
Announced last week, Carnival Cruise Line passengers can now start their vacation even earlier by checking in and receiving their Sail & Sign boarding cards at Miami International Airport, before they arrive at the Port of Miami or Port Everglades.

Carnival will now offer express check-in counters for guests on their day of sailing, open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Concourses D and H, after passengers have retrieved their luggage from baggage claim and have been directed to their specific check-in counter that is contingent upon flight arrivals.

Passengers that did not purchase Carnival's shuttle transfer to their departure port may buy transfers during the check-in process. If a guest prefers to make a cash deposit for their Sail & Sign account, they will be directed to stop by a cruise terminal check-in counter or use a Sail & Sign kiosk once onboard.

Once officially checked-in, in addition to their Sail & Sign cards, guests will receive an 'Airport Express' card to use for identification in the Airport Express security lane upon arriving at the pier; verification with a photo ID and the passenger's Sail & Sign card will be administered.
