The topical ‘Ocean Views’ program where experts debate current events will be offered on both Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony. Also new in 2012, the ‘Ocean Views’ panels will expand from world cruise segments to trans-Atlantic voyages.
Crystal will double its big band/ballroom dancing theme sailings to offer one on each ship during a trans-Atlantic cruise. The dates are March 19 and Dec. 9.
The ‘Emerging Artists’ themes, which Crystal said have been a hit during this year’s Alaska season, will expand to three Europe sailings featuring new, rising talent from Los Angeles Music Center’s Spotlight program.
Six departures are designated ‘Wine & Food Festival’ cruises: Mediterranean sailings on May 9, May 24, Sept. 18 and Nov. 17, the Baltic/Russia cruise on Aug. 14 and the New Zealand/Australia holiday cruise on Dec. 20.
Other themes include film and theater, golf, jazz, NFL legends and floral design.
Also, the President’s Cruise, hosted by Gregg Michel, is scheduled for the May 21 Western Europe voyage, and the annual Crystal Society cruise is set for the Oct. 24 Mediterranean voyage.
