Celebrity Reflection's AquaSpa has New Experiences, Theme Nights

Celebrity Reflection will present an enhanced AquaSpa by Elemis with an expanded Persian Garden experience including elements like an infrared sauna, plus theme nights and new massage and hair treatments. Also, a sweepstakes is offering the chance to cruise in an AquaClass Suite.

The expanded, 883sq ft Persian Garden will allow for six more heated tile beds (15 in total) with sea views, and six new experiences. These include a Hammam, a cool, calm and quiet space designed to loosen muscles and joints while spa-goers relax on a heated stone slab. The new infrared sauna is said to increase blood flow, reduce inflammation and decrease pain versus purely heating the skin, as in a traditional sauna.

The aromatic steam room combines steam and aromatherapy, while the cold room has icy (52 F) seats, walls and floors to tighten pores that were opened and cleansed in the infrared sauna and aromatic steam room.

The new do-it-yourself salt and scrub bar enables spa-goers to create custom body cocktails or scrubs from an array of salts, sugar and herbs. The scrubs can be purchased individually or as a package of five scrubs for $45.

The Persian Gardens sensory showers give a selection of warm, tropical rain infused with mild, fruity fragrances, or an arctic cold mist enlivened with eucalyptus essences. Sound and light features are incorporated.

The Persian Garden experience is included in the fare for passengers who book Celebrity Cruises spa-inspired AquaClass accommodations. Others pay $35 for a day pass.

Additionally, the AquaSpa will introduce Girlz Night, a social night for women, and Couples Night, both with access to the Persian Garden.

Celebrity Reflections AquaSpa also offers a new therapy, Rhythm and Bliss, a rhythmic rubdown conceived and choreographed by the New York brand, bliss, while the passenger tunes out with noise-canceling headphones playing their choice of four music mixes: classical, world, electronic or rock.

Other spa treatments include acupuncture, Botox and Dysport injectables, and Restylane and Perlane dermal fillers.

The salon within the AquaSpa will present a new service, introducing the Keratin Complex hair smoothing therapy.

To promote the facility, Celebrity launched The Art of Relaxation sweepstakes, allowing a winner and guest to experience all the spa and ship. The grand prize is a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise for two in AquaClass Suite accommodations, including round-trip coach-class air.
