Modern luxury cruise brand Celebrity Cruises has revealed its new and exciting cruises in Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The season filled with adventure and discovery in far-flung destinations includes many firsts for guests to choose from. These include an unprecedented number of journeys to India, "Uniquely Celebrity" destination experiences, and the Signature Event Sailing of a lifetime, which celebrates an iconic world event with special access only Celebrity can offer.
The cruise line now has fully revealed its 2017-2018 "Go Celebrity!" campaign, coming full circle with culture-rich itineraries that span the Pacific, Indian and Atlantic oceans with 10 award-winning ships.
Celebrity's new cruises now revealed:
Asia
Presenting a wealth of new adventures through the greater Asia region, Celebrity Millennium and Celebrity Constellation, will whisk guests away on their journeys to the Far East, Arabian Sea and India in modern luxury style.
Stemming from the increased popularity of sailings along the Indian coast, Celebrity is proud to now offer eight sailings to India – the most in the brand's history. The line's season in the region also features the 15-night "Best of India and Sri Lanka" sailing that goes along the famous and ancient Spice Route. Culture-seekers who want to discover the beauty of South Asia can embark on this once-in-a-lifetime tour to the Taj Majal and trace the origins of their favorite tea while in Colombo, Sri Lanka; or relax on the palm-lined beaches of Goa, India. And, as the only premium cruise line to sail out of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Celebrity will continue to infuse even more rich experiences into guests’ vacations in the region.
New to the brand's exclusive list of Signature Event Sailings is the unforgettable Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival in Taipei, Taiwan. Vacationers onboard Celebrity Millennium can marvel in the magic of the alluring destination when they journey into the city and watch thousands of glowing lanterns be released into the night sky, in celebration of the Chinese New Year’s first full moon. Each lantern carries a personalized, hand-written wish. This is a must-see event.
Celebrity will also deliver a robust and exhilarating lineup of shore excursions on the new 2017-2018 sailings, including new Uniquely Celebrity experiences such as watching a culturally and historically rich dance performance in Bali, Indonesia; receiving a water blessing for good health from a local monk and visiting a 390-foot-tall Buddha figure on Chee-Jan Mountain in Bangkok/Laem Chabang, Thailand; savoring a traditional Kaiseki meal while enjoying a traditional Geisha performance in Tokyo; and cruising along the stunning coast of Abu Dhabi.
Celebrity has also added new destinations to its 2017-2018 season; these incredible locales include Aomori, Japan, home of the iconic Hirosaki Castle, which was built in 1611; and Hiroshima, Japan, where guests can visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
Australia and New Zealand
The modern luxury brand's guest-favorite Celebrity Solstice will return to sail western and southern Australia in 2017-2018. The season in the Down Under features visits to exciting ports of call, such as Perth and Adelaide, as well as an added opportunity for vacationers to cruise from Sydney, Australia to the Great Barrier Reef – one of the "Seven Wonders of the Underwater World" – as they visit other unforgettable ports of call on the way. The stunning Solstice Class ship will also continue to sail across the Pacific Ocean on cruises to the South Pacific and Hawaii, providing a wide array of unique vacations for Celebrity guests to explore this corner of the world.
Vacationers sailing on Australia and New Zealand cruises will have the chance to experience a variety of curated shore excursions unique to Celebrity, which will allow them to discover the region through the eyes of local experts. The renowned Australia Zoo's world-renowned Wildlife Warriors have helped create a series of exclusive shore excursions, including the "Australian Zoo Express" and "Australian Experience" tours, which visit the Wildlife Hospital where sick, injured and orphaned animals are treated and cared for ahead of their release back into the wild. Celebrity is also introducing an exclusive Uniquely Celebrity adventure in Tauranga, New Zealand. "The Basket of Plenty" experience will take guests on a journey to taste the unique flavors of the Bay of Plenty on an appetizing tasting tour as well as a trip to Kiwi360, the kiwi fruit capital of the world.
Destinations onboard – beginning in 2016
Celebrity has unveiled a new, robust destination program onboard its ships that delivers rich opportunities for vacationers to become regional experts before even arriving to their destinations. With dynamic brand-firsts like Celebrity chef-led shore excursions named "Chef's Market Discoveries," a group of incredibly knowledgeable regional experts, authentic flavors and inspired entertainment, guests can take a deep dive into their favorite destinations like never before onboard Celebrity sailings departing as soon as January 2016.
For example, on Australia and New Zealand sailings, through Celebrity's collaboration with the Australia Zoo, the Wildlife Warriors will bring their passion for wildlife and conservation onboard through personal appearances on select sailings. The culinary scene onboard in the region will also offer a wide variety of dishes – influenced by both indigenous cultures and Europe – crafted by Celebrity's chefs, with Australian and Kiwi ingredients sourced from local markets; as well as globally recognized wines and local craft brews produced in the area.

To celebrate the brand's richest "Go Celebrity!" campaign, the cruise line launched a special "Go Big, Go Better, Go Best!" offer for nearly all of the brand's 2017-2018 sailings. Guests who book an oceanview or higher stateroom and "Go Big" can enjoy a free perk from the choice of Classic Beverage Packages, unlimited internet packages, gratuities or $150 to spend onboard. Vacationers can even choose to upgrade and "Go Better" to get their choice of two perks, or "Go Best" and get all four perks, plus a Premium beverage package upgrade.
