Upon arrival at the Calgary International Airport (YYC), you will be transferred to your hotel. Your tour director will assist you with check-in at the hotel and be available to answer any questions you may have with regards to your upcoming Canadian Rockies experience. Day 2 - Saturday - Aug 22, 2026
Check out after breakfast and enjoy an orientation tour of Calgary, offering a glimpse into the city's history, culture, and key attractions, including the Calgary Tower, Stampede Grounds, and the site of the 1988 Winter Olympics. Embark on a scenic drive to Banff, where you'll begin with a familiarization tour showcasing town highlights such as Tunnel Mountain and Bow Falls. Discover the charming shops and restaurants in Banff Village while taking in the stunning scenery. Next, experience breathtaking views of the Canadian Rockies with a ride on the Banff Gondola. Transfer to the Fairmont Banff Springs hotel, located in the heart of Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Often referred to as Canada's "Castle in the Rockies", this iconic hotel has been a landmark since 1888. Check into the hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner that evening. Please Note: For the Banff Gondola, the summit boardwalk consists of 368 shallow stairs each way and is not wheelchair accessible. The remainder of the mountaintop experience and its facilities are accessible.

Today's itinerary features visits to two of the most iconic destinations in Banff National Park: Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. After breakfast, embark on a journey through the scenic Banff Valley, with towering mountains, lush forests, and sparkling rivers. Catch a glimpse of the majestic Victoria Glacier as you approach Lake Louise. Upon arrival, take time to explore the area, capture photos, and marvel at the lake's stunning turquoise waters. Next, continue to Moraine Lake, a hidden gem celebrated for its vibrant blue hue and picturesque setting. Nestled beneath the Ten Peaks, this alpine lake offers picturesque views and a serene atmosphere. After soaking in nature's beauty, return to your hotel in Banff. Spend the evening enjoying the hotel's amenities and dining at your leisure. Please note: The road to Moraine Lake is operated seasonally. While the opening is scheduled for the end of May, it is highly weather-dependent. In the case of a road closure, the stop would be replaced by a visit of Emerald Lake.

Check out after breakfast and join your guide for a scenic transfer to Sun Peaks. Leaving Banff, ascend Kicking Horse Pass for beautiful mountain views before descending into the picturesque Columbia River Valley. Travel through Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park, renowned for its dramatic landscapes and diverse wildlife. Continue through the Selkirk Mountains, famous for heavy snowfall and alpine lakes, such as Emerald Lake, and on to the Monashee Mountain Range, known for its rugged terrain and scenic meadows. En route, stop at a local vineyard for a guided tour led by knowledgeable staff, learning about winemaking while enjoying panoramic views of the Thompson River. At the end of the tour, you'll be transferred to your hotel. Check in and enjoy the remainder of the evening at your leisure, with dinner on your own.

After breakfast, join your guide for a captivating half-day tour of the North Shore, featuring visits to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and Grouse Mountain. Experience nature from three breathtaking perspectives: the iconic Capilano Suspension Bridge, the seven suspension bridges of the Treetops Adventure, and the thrilling Cliffwalk, a 700-foot journey along granite cliffs with panoramic views.
