Arrive in Santiago and meet your private driver at the airport. Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Set out into the streets of Santiago, marveling at the snow-capped Andes off in the distance. Do a little sightseeing or perhaps take a stroll through the Central Market, where you might try a traditional seafood dish made with the day's fresh catch. Later, regroup back at the hotel and kick off your two nights in Santiago with a delicious welcome dinner.

Discover the best of Santiago beginning with the lovely architecture of the Barrio Universitario, a historic residential area. Venture into the colonial city center and make your way to La Moneda Palace, the official office of the president. Continue along the slender green expanse of the Parque Forestal to the Chilean National Museum of Fine Arts. Explore galleries of modern and contemporary works before heading into the bohemian Bellavista district, a hodgepodge of artisan shops and cozy eateries. Take the funicular to the panoramic viewpoint atop San Cristobal Hill before descending back down to discover Santiago's cosmopolitan side. Wrap up the day with lunch at a local restaurant.
