Planning a expedition with Atlas Ocean Voyages requires careful review of their specific contract terms. Because Atlas operates luxury expedition yachts to remote destinations such as Antarctica, the Arctic, and Northern Europe, cancellation fee schedules are tiered based on how far in advance written notice is provided prior to departure.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Atlas Ocean Voyages or your travel advisor. The official date of cancellation is defined as the business day on which written notification is received by the cruise line. Name changes or requests to shift sailing dates are treated as cancellations and re-bookings, subject to standard penalty schedules.
Cancellation fees apply to the total fare paid to Atlas Ocean Voyages, including expedition cruise fare, air travel, pre/post-land programs, and charter flights. No refunds are issued for guests who fail to present required travel documentation, fail to show up for departure, or interrupt their voyage.
