The Spirit of Nantucket is one of the newest additions to Cruise West's fleet. Operating exclusively on the East Coast of the U.S., her shallow draft allows for exploration of the charming ports of call that are untouched by tourism. The decor is sleek, stylish, and quietly elegant with light wood accents. The Observation Lounge features expansive picture windows, a video and lending library, plus cozy banquettes and conversation circles for getting to know your fellow travelers. Every stateroom features a wide picture window or porthole, private facilities, a writing desk and ample storage. Our focus is always on the destination, so informality is key. After all, if there's a whale spouting off the bow, dinner will just have to wait, and you don't want to get whale spume on a tux! When you're on board, you'll spend most of your waking hours in the spacious public areas. Unlike many other ships, on the Spirit of Nantucket have open guest access to the bow area, giving you the best views.
